Boat anchors/sharpened pry bars

stabman stabman made a piece that's tailor made for this thread called Stormbreaker. I'll try to find the thread.

Photobucket kind of ruins the pics, but it's there. ;)

1960s copy of a WW1 bolo. 1lb 10oz, 10 3/8” blade. I’ve been tough on this knife and it’s handled everything that’s been thrown at it. Refurbished by my friend Dub Anderson. When hunkering down for a tornado, it’s one of the first things I grab. I’ll be taking it camping this Thanksgiving holiday.

This is another classic chopper. A Robert Mole and Sons "Steamer" Machete from the end of the 19th century (c 1875-1890).

Edited to add:
Further research indicates this is from 1895. It was the only year where Robert Mole used both the "Robert Mole and Sons" name with the "Steamship" trademark. Also, the "BWI" mark on the sheath is a reference to the British West Indies Regiment. This was a 15,600 man organization from the West Indies that served with distinction as part of the British army in the First World War. They were principally used as a labor/logistics group, but did see combat in a number of theaters throughout that war.

I've owned about 15 Busse over the years. GBMLE was .31 and Ash1 was .32.

Threw the FBMLE
But bladeforums does nor seem to allow me ro embed videos from Imgur. Since Photobucket took a flying F-You dump on everyone yesrs ago.

Currently, I have sold off all my Busse, and have a few choppers currently. I have been slowly getting more equipment to build, rather than buy. 2x72 grinder, drill press, angle grinder, forge...next is dome quality tongs and an anvil.

Not pictured are a couple machetes, axes or silky saw.

Some nice fatwood pieces in the 2nd and 3rd photos - is that from a Ponderosa Pine?

Not sure the species. That was about 18 years ago in Spokane WA. I did not keep the wood. It wure looked like fat wood....but it was not really. It was just wet. Not full of pitch. I do keep an eye out for fatwood. But since my parents moved from their home with a wood burning stove I have not had reason to split much wood.
