I have a Bob Dozier Folding Hunter liner lock with contoured black G-10 handle scales, an ivory micarta backspacer, and a satin finished D2 drop point blade for trade. Bob is known for building some of the best user fixed blades and folders around, and the Folding Hunter is arguably his most popular folder design. This particular Folding Hunter is in what Bob calls his large size, with a 3 1/2" blade length and 8 1/8" OAL. It is built like a tank and would make a great EDC for anyone looking for a midsized folder.
The Folding Hunter listed here has been refurbished by Bob, and it does not appear to have been used or resharpened since its refurb. Its edge from Bob, as one would expect, is extremely sharp. The knife does appear to have been carried lightly, however, and there are some light handling marks on the pocket clip. The action is smooth, and the opens easily with a light flick of the thumb. A brief video of the action can be viewed here. The lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is excellent though not perfect.
