Up for your considerations is a hand made by the man himself a Bob Dozier Sisu Model Clip Point Hunter. The knifes OAL is 83/4” with a blade length of 43/6”. The blade is a Dozier clip point hunter and is just shy of 3/16 “ thick of hand crafted rare San-Mai Laminated forged blade steel for by Mike Norris. The steel has a D2 Core and a 410 Stainless Exterior Forged together. This provides superior stain resistance with Dozier legendary D2 cutting ability.
The hidden tang is a full one-half inch wide and is completely heat-treated to gain the maximum properties of the D2 steel. A rectangular slot is machined in the handle to perfectly fit the tang. This eliminates the the need to fill the extra space with epoxy, then just the necessary amount of epoxy with a brass blind bolt to secure the the handle for a lifetime of hard use. The handle is made of tough stacked leather and Stag handle with a brass spacer with brass blind bolt to secure the handle for a life time of hard use.The stainless steel guard is is perfectly soldered so that no moisture has access to the inside of the handle. The knife is accompanied by one of Bob’s custom wet molded shoulder hide right hand leather sheath. The sheath is made with a internal welt that locks the guard in place and even if turned upside down and shaking will not all the knife to fall out. $585.00 shipped USPS Insured. Sold to Mikereyes25
