I have a mint condition Bob Dozier Workhorse folder with titanium handle slabs, an inlaid liner lock, and a satin finished D2 clip point blade for sale. The Workhorse features Bob's innovative Tab Stop, where the same piece of titanium acts as both the liner lock and the stop pin to give create Bob calls an "ultra strong lock". And with a blade thickness of nearly 1/4", this will be one of the toughest and beefiest folders that you will ever see.
The Workhorse also features a blade tang that is shaped in a way so that it can function as a low profile flipper. You'll definitely need a little wrist action to flip it open, but it does present an additional alternative opening method to the standard thumbstud.
This particular Workhorse is particularly well made, even compared to others of its kind. The inside of the non-lock side handle slab has been milled out to reduce the weight of this giant folder. From what I have been told, Bob no longer does this on his Workhorse model. There is also a groove milled into each side of the handle that is polished and anodized gold. The groove aids your grip on the knife and dresses it up a little as well.
The Workhorse listed here has never been carried, used, or resharpened, and its original edge from Bob is extremely sharp. The opening action is very smooth, the lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is just about dead perfect.
