This morning I had a conversation with Bob via phone. Now comes the hard part,I hate eating crow
but this seems an appropriate time. I apparently misspoke in Ref to Bobs' character and the knife in question. It appears that he is indeed a man of
integrity and the mistake was on my end "NOT MR GLASSMAN" I offered him my apology as I offer it to anyone who may have read my former post.
What can I say,I spoke in haste. It will not happen again. I thank Bob for being gracious enough to accept my apology with good cheer. I'd buy another knife from him without hesitation.

We don't need anymore hard feelings and it's better to clear the air and go on with bigger and better things; lifes too short! I know both of you feel better now....;):cool:
 
Glad to see that things got straightened out so easily. Makes one wonder why this phone conversation didn't happen before bringing things to the GB&U forum. It could have saved some hurt feelings.
 
The hardest part, and the MOST IMPORTANT is to admit it when you are wrong, accept and stand accountable and responsible for the error and take your medicine like a MAN. It is refreshing to see something as serious as this MIGHT HAVE become get stopped dead in it's tracks because someone did the RIGHT thing. There are a few folks who really need to stand up NOW and do the same thing......wolf
