Bob Kramer knives

Lets see, I work every day and pay the bills knife by knife..........Things couldn't be better though because I truly love what I do and I have the most beautiful Wife and Son with me every day.

I quit my day job with Kershaw to persue my own passions, but I still do design work for them. I have several designs debuting this year.

Thats great to hear Tim. I am glad to see you escape corporate America.

I have had a chance to handle the 8" chef shun Kramer collaboration, I have big hands and to find a knife that feels right and secondly to find a blade height as tall as his is again pretty hard in a production knife. I was pretty impressed.

Sorry to drag this post back to the original topic, but wanted to chime in that I have been following Bobs work for a while, and had the opportunity to talk briefly with him at Blade this year. He is most certainly the real deal. His grasp of metalurgy is very tight. He and folks like Kevin Cashen and Tim Zowada can banter freely in a scientific metal lingo that leaves the rest of us nodding, and running to catch up.
