Bob Loveless style hunter w/ beautiful Honduran Rosewood that turned out nicely. If you look closely, you'll see the steel in the handle has been tapered to reduce weight. There's enough steel left in the handle to make this knife useful enough for a prying tool. Great balance, the weight of the knife is @ the center @ the nickle guard.
There's a slight burr (in-between pins in pic # 5) on one side of the handle. I could of flipped it over and avoided exposing the burr, however, this side had much more movement/waivy grain to it, so I just left the burr for character. Another 1/16" down, & the burr would remove. I left it for character, this doesn't weaken the strength or integrity of this side of the handle & I'll stand behind that.

That knife looks solid as a rock. I like it. The wood is great, is that a big slab of the same that you are shooting against?

Thank you Salem. The slab in background is snakewood. There is a contrast between two exotic woods. Snakewood/Honduran Rosewood. The snakewood is a special piece that I'm saving for a special project, it's almost too beautiful to crack into.
