Up For Sale is my Bob Lum fixed blade tanto. It was acquired from Bob (may he rest in peace) about 7 or 8 years ago. It measures right about 12" in overall length, and the blade is right about 7". I remember the blade steel being 154CM. The handle is black ebony wood, accented with red liners. The bolster / guard (I believe) is 416SS. This would likely be considered one of his higher grade tantos (rather than what he referred to as "field grade"). It is in mint condition. A real safe queen. It has never been carried, used, or sharpened - merely admired.
If there is one blade shape that epitomizes Bob Lum, it is his tanto. He can likely be acknowledged and credited as the inventor of the American tanto blade style. This one is a fine example of his craft and talent. He was a true artist and gentleman, and is sorely missed.
I am asking WITHDRAWN shipped USPS Priority Mail with Insurance and Delivery Confirmation in the CONUS. I will accept a Postal Money Order, Cashier's Check, or PayPal (NO FEES). There is no sheath.
