Bob Lum Folder (Tanto)

I received as a gift a Spyderco Bob Lum. The leading edge of the knife is pointy but not sharp, but the straight part of the knife is razor sharp. Should the beginning of the knife be razor sharp as well or is it ground this way intentionally?

Backup21 - It is intentionally ground in the "appleseed" (hamaguri) grind...but it should be sharp. If you can't do it, I guess we'll have to. Couldn't tell from your post where you are. Are you in the US?
