Offered For Sale is my Bob Lum Folding Hunter. Unfortunately, Bob is no longer with us. However, if you ever had the pleasure of meeting him you would know what a great guy he was, and that he was one of the most talented knifemakers. He is sorely missed.
I thought long and hard about selling this one, but circumstances are such that it has to go. Hopefully, it will wind up in a good home where it can be admired and appreciated. I have had it in my collection since it was purchased directly from Bob while in Atlanta, just prior to the opening of the 2004 Blade Show.
Bob’s Folding Hunter has Titanium Handles and flat ground S30V steel blade. It measures 8 5/8” in total length, with a blade length of 3 3/4”. It uses a nail nick to open. It has never been used, carried or re-sharpened. It is in the same condition as when it was purchased. There is a tiny surface mark the size of a pin head on the spine of the handle slab with the clip. You probably cannot see it in the pictures, but in the interest of full disclosure it is there. The blade locks-up tight with no play in any direction. The blade is ever so slightly off center of the liners when closed. It truly is a beautiful piece. I don’t know how many of these Bob made, but I haven’t seen many. And his knives are definitely scarce these days, particularly his folders.
Price is $2,500 - NOW $1600 for Postal Money Order or PayPal (no fees). If using PayPal you must have a Confirmed Shipping Address. Price includes insured shipping in the CONUS. It will be shipped in a padded pouch. Will go to the first one to yell “I’ll take it”.
Not interested in any trade offers. Thanks for looking.
