Bob Sowell knives?

I am currently looking at an opportunity to get a Bob Sowell forged hunter in 5160. All I know about the maker is that he is an ABS JS. Could someone please give me some info about this maker? I am very new to the world of forged blades and would appreciate any direction you could give.

Bob is a good JS. Not spectular work but good and solid. He is learning each time I see him he has climbed up another notch. So far I think he is good value as he keeps his prices in line with his knowledge. Nice guy.
