Several years ago I bought a LH Combat Master from him. D2 steel with Kydex sheath. Is this a rare one and about what is its worth? Thanks.

I assume you mean a left handed sheath since the Combat Master , Model 18 is a fixed blade. I made about a dozen left hand sheaths for this model over the years, I don't think its particularly rare. As for value, I'd refer you to a dealer who handles after market knives. Today I would charge about $550 for a Combat Master. BOB

Any idea of how many of these you made? It's my absolute favorite carry knife. I wear it weak side and it's been great.

Bob: My name is David Chao and i had you make a D2 Sword for me many many years ago. it had cocobolo wood, it was about 22" with some hand carving on the wood. I lost the little sheet that you included the information on the heat treatment and what the rockwell # is on this blade. Not sure is you still have records of this. It was a long time ago. I used to live in San Francisco

Hey David, this thread is over ten years old - not sure if Mr. Terzuola will see this message...

It is not awesome to see threads 10 years old come to the top...it is the opposite of awesome.

For every 100 dead threads that get kicked up, less than 10% add value to the discussion...that's my opinion....some agree, some don't.

The reason many of them get kicked up is because neophyte Forumites don't bother to look at the dates of the threads.....that isn't awesome, that is ignorance.

Best Regards,
