I'd bet that there should be a substantial shake-down period before any special orders are even suggested to Yangdu. She's got a whole new life to put in order these days. Gin's visit may have given her some insight.
Bill had serious mis-givings about ordering the Sarge knives, and he had a KNIFE to send over for Bura to copy. We went back and forth several times before it went over. Even then, some of the wood-handled ones were off-spec.
I'd also suggest that if and when, all special orders would have to be pre-paid. I'd imagine there has been a loss of revenue in Reno. Risks are greater now.
Of course, I'm frequently wrong.
