body armor legal in CA?

What would they do? Arrest you for carrying concealed armor? You could always wear it on the outside just so they know where you're coming from. I think it's mandatory in Miami and Detroit. Don't forget your ski mask.

like was mentioned before, body armor in and of itself may not be illegal. but it definitely raises suspicions, its not normal for civilians to be wearing it. it could also be an aggravating factor if committing a violent crime.

saw a guy the other day wearing what appeared to be an armor carrier on the outside of his shirt. it was a fashion statement, with the company logo on the outside, made of leather. but had the shoulder and chest straps and he had it slung over his shoulders. looked completely stupid.

but i digress, why wear one if you dont have to? not very comfortable and extremely binding and hot.
