Bog Dog

Does that mean that all the Rat knives from pics on the red background ar in Bully's possession?:eek::confused:

LOL. No, I think the red backgound pics are shop pics. A lot of Eric's are taken on his verandah, also a lot were with autum leaves around as well.

Oh hells yeah!

I just got my first Bog Dog a few moments ago!!! How this escaped me for the last 7 years.....I don't know. But I'm too gimped up to go out and do anything with it right now.....aaarrrgghhhh!

I picked up this d2 version for a song (complete accident!) it is a overall about 1/8 shorter than a SHBA and the actual cutting edge it about 3/32 longer also. This thing is insanely light at 4.7oz and .1415 thick.

With the balance point right at the index finger, it almost feels weightless in hand!

CongRatulations mate.
They are not the prettiest knife on the planet, but for a hard use hunter/camp knife you would go a long way to beat it.
The D2 adds to its versatility with an edge that wont say die. :D

Congrats! Great grab. Saw a Rat Hunter go for a decent price a couple days ago...nice scores being made!

It was a complete shock when I got the email stating I won.....

Granted it wasnt original price but I hadn't seen one for this price since 2008.

I really need a router so I can post pictures again!!!! Killin me

The more I handle the Bog Dog, the more I like it. It is a lot of knife and I can't wait to get a real chance at using it

If I ever find mine again...think I have narrowed it down and should be able to tear up the downstairs bedroom/study this weekend, with the family gone 3 days. I had (have?) the D2. I only did a little food prep outdoors and dressed a turkey I called in and shot, but I loved that knife. I agree that it seems to virtually zero out its own weight, while still feeling substantial. A miracle of design and execution. I know a lot of folks scoff at any contemplation of using knives in an offensive manner, but there was a website i saw a year or so back, in which a martial artist evaluated the blade as a potential weapon and was impressed. If I ever find mine, or ever score another, it stays with me. My absoloute favorite bussekin, and a lot hve passedthrough my hands over the years. Not a chopper, or even a splitter, but just a great midsized to smallish knife. Congratulations.
