I have a mint condition Phil Boguszewski Cobra liner lock flipper with burgundy linen micarta handle scales, orange-peeled titanium bolsters anodized gold, engine-turned liners, and a handrubbed BG-42 blade for trade. Phil makes the smoothest flippers in existence, and his work has become almost legendary within the scope of this type of folder.
The Cobra listed here never been carried, used, or resharpened, and the original edge on it from Phil is sharp. There are no marks on this piece that I can find, and I will say that this piece is in dead mint condition. The opening action is extremely smooth, and it goes without saying that this piece can be easily flipped open from any angle, even vertical, with zero wrist action. The lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is near perfect.
***SOLD***
The specs:
Condition: Mint
Blade length: 3 7/8" from tip to bolster
Overall length: 8 5/8"
Blade thickness: 5/32" at ricasso
Blade steel: BG-42
Blade finish: Handrubbed
Edge: Plain
Bolsters: Titanium, orange-peel textured and anodized gold
Handle scale material: Burgundy linen micarta, satin finished
Lock: Titanium liner lock, satin finished on edges, engine-turned on inside
Backspacer: Black linen micarta, satin finished
Clip: Tip down, titanium, satin finished and anodized gold
My trade list is pretty short on this one. I'm looking for the following:
Tim Galyean flippers
JL Williams flippers
Kit Carson framelocks or fancy liner locks
Ken Onion custom flippers
Deryk Munroe folders
I'm not really looking for anything off of this list, but if you're going to get crazy and offer me something like a newer Michael Walker or a Wolfgang Loerchner, I'll certainly listen
.
Feel free to post, email, or PM any questions. Thanks for looking!
