Just saw these drop at a couple of dealers and I was wondering if anyone had any more information about them? I hadn't heard anything about it before, which is weird because this seems like it would be a pretty high-profile collaboration. On paper it seems very similar to the Kwaikens that have been very popular. 3.75" VG10 front flipper with bearings, titanium liners, and G10 scales, for around $120 street.

I'm considering getting one because I've always admired the A2 collaborations, but I can't shell out the money for the full custom. Just wondering if anyone saw this coming or has more information or has one on the way.

I handled the Boker prototype last year. If the productions are as nice you will not be disappointed. I plan on getting one of these for my edc rotation.

This and the urban trapper are very high on my to get list as I discovered that boker released a 42a compliant version in December, making it legal to carry in Germany.

If I may ask, what does 42a compliance entail? I saw the new Boker models, but wasn't sure why anyone would want a nail nick opener with bearings... Didn't realize it was a specific legal issue.

It is just a stupid thing. Over here folding knives may either be one handed opening or self locking (like a liner or frame lock) but not both if you want them to be legal to carry. You can still own one handed locking blades, you just can't carry them.
Owning of Bali songs is totally forbidden.

I was excited until I saw that it was from the "Plus" line. I have been disappointed way too many times by Chinese manufacturing in the past to buy sight unseen. I think I'm going to wait for other's reviews before pulling the trigger on this one.

Does Boker make any knives outside of China anymore? The only Boker knives I've handled have been from the plus line and they've all been solid. The urban trapper is one of my favorite blades under $100.

Bumping this because I'm very interested in seeing what people have to say about this one!
