boker bowie

Hi,iam interested in what the forum think of the boker bowie with the walnut handle.It is a knife i have been interested in for some years.

TAPIR,
I just purchased one of these bowies for $60.00. It has 5" red wooden grip
7.75" 440ss blade, leather sheath. I hope this the one you are talking about?
I sent an e-mail to Boker today if I hear anything back I will pass it on.
I've been hanging out in the shadows for awhile here. There surely must be somebody out there who canhelp out.
Sure seems like bunch of nice people.

I just had your email forwarded to me, and I have to look into
what info I have on your knife. Could you tell me what you wanted to know,
specifically?

It is a different knife than the one Tapir is talking about.
As far as an opinion on the knife, I hold a high one, but I am not unbiased .

I would like to know if there are any collectors value or is it a user?
The number on the box is 540.
It is a really nice knife and I am happy with it.
