Does any one have one of the new Boker knives that were designed by W. Brend? How are they? For $60 I think it looks great. Any problems with them?

Any info would be great.

Thanks,

Could you say where you saw this information and if there is a picture I can view of said knife somewhere?

Thanks

I was very curious about these as well (so curious that I've just ordered one in fact

). They look good and seem to be very reasonable priced, given the materials used and the pedigree of the design. I've never handled one, but my previous experiences with Boker products have been quite favorable. Hopefully I won't be disappointed…

There were a couple of reviews a while ago. How I miss the search function...

Seemed like the consensus was that they were excellent designs and good materials, but the quality control wasn't up to spec yet. Folks mentioned poor scale fits, tool-marks on the bolsters, stuff like that. Doesn't sound very German - could these be made in Boker's Argentine facility?

These sound like they'll be a steal if they get the QC worked out, but you might want o wait until they've been in production for a while before getting one.
