Hi guys, I just purchased a Boker Brend tach folder with Cocobolo handles. What I am wondering is where is the ser number? I think it is the number that is on the lock but I am not sure. Any help would be greatly appr.

I liked mine but it was terrible for cutting rope so I sold it...I still sorta miss it. I think the number on the lock is the model number (2095?)

Uhm... serial number or product/model number? The Boker Brend with Cocobolo scales and Ti bolsters is product number 2056. As far as I know, these are not serial numbered. One way to tell if you have an older Brend/Boker folder is if it has the confederate battle flag. If it has BREND written on it with no confederate flag, then it is the more recent production run.

Thanks for the info guys, I do have the flag on the blade, I was told by a dealer that Boker/Brend was going to number the first 2500 or so of combo production of all three styles of Boker Brend tach folders. Maybe he was wrong

According to Boker USA the first 3000 pieces were numbered and had the Battle flag Stamp and the number on the lock is that number.
