I just received mine today. The shape of this knife seemed "familiar" I did a side by side with a Queen Mountain Man pattern I have and guess what? Identical! This IS the Mountain Man pattern. I like.
The bubinga scales on mine came "unfinished" (don't know if this Boker's standard) , smoothly sanded but very light/pale in color. Well with just one coat of Tru Oil what a difference. The color darkened nicely and the graining really popped and "deepened". Very, very pleased with the results so far. A few more coats to go.
For the the $32.00 it cost me I feel like I got a bargain!
The blade grind seems even, buy not the sharpest knife in the drawer. It does push cut paper readily. I've experienced this on other Boker Plus knives I've bought. As with the others I have in 440c, a little work with diamond stones brings out their potential.
