Hey Robb, welcome to BFC.
I've done some trading on the forums here, and it's easy to name the #1 answer for getting more interest, more responses, and therefore more successful trades: add pictures.
Forumites are here because they like knives. The vast majority of them are men, and most men like to look at pictures of things they like. That's just how they are. So if your thread has pictures, it gets people more excited about what you're offering. More excitement, more trading success.
The only other thing I'd say is add the specs of the knife if you can, like this:
OAL: 8.25"
blade: 4"
Steel:S30V
Handle: Black G10
Reversible left/right clip.
,etc.
Best of luck! BFC is a pretty amazing phenomenon- who would think that you can trust total strangers enough to mail your belongings off to them without any real guarantee of getting something in return? But it works, and you can trust 'em. So keep on trying.
Now, as far as your trade goes, I'm actually interested. I've never owned a ceramic knife, folding or otherwise.
But what has to happen first is, I have to go to froogle.com, look up what the Gamma is (I can't remember) and what it sells for, then go look and think for a while about what I have to offer in trade. (Another reason for pics and specs- saves your readers research time, because since many people aren't too interested in researching anything, you lose them right there.) Then if everything adds up I'll be able to make an offer.
So I'll get back to you on that part. But either way, I hope what I've mentioned makes your future trading efforts more rewarding.
Good luck!
Mike
