My EDC is a Benchmade 707. I'm headed to a wedding this weekend and I have decided that it doesn't go with my suit. I have seen a pile of beautiful knives on the internet but my time is limited as I need it by this weekend. The nicest knife I can find at the local stores is a Boker Gentleman's Lockback. There is not a lot of Internet info on this knife. Even the Boker website isn't much help. It gets about 4/5 on most customer reviews. Mostly positive feed back but a few quality complains.

Anyone here have any experience with the Boker Gentleman's Lockback?

For the price ($25 USD) I'll probably get it anyway. I understand that this is not a heirloom knife. I just want to hear that it's not a complete lemon.

I have a boker decade edition lock back was a little more money it was pretty decent quality as far that knife for $25 Id say just try it out and being at a local store at least you can handle it before you buy it.

If it fits your budget, then it's well worth it. However, you can get many knives in that price range that may be more suitable. A few more bucks gets you a Kershaw leek or chive. Both are very sleek in the pocket.

Good recommendation Timmy! I have both those knives. The Chive was my EDC before I got the Benchmade. I have the leek in the Ken onion rainbow. Kind of forgot about that knife. Might be perfect for this situation. Sleek looking knife!

However, I think I'm looking for something without the pocket clip that will fit in the change pocket of my dress pants.
