boker haddock

I finally have word on these coming in. They are listed on the shipment that is supposed to be delivered tomorrow, 04AUG10. It just needs to get here before the customs inspector goes on vacation, or it will have to sit awhile. But if all goes well, we will have some tomorrow to ship out.

I am liking my Haddock and Pry-Mate more every day!

Several mail order sites have both 'on backorder' - good luck finding one.

Stainz, would that local shop happen to have any more there??

G2,

Sorry - that was the only Haddock they ever had in stock. They still haven't received a Pry-Mate (I got mine elsewhere.).

T-t-P,

Here it is with my BM 755 MPR, 790 Subrosa, and ZT-0301:

Here it is with my BM 425 Gravitator, another Wharncliffe-style knife:

Sorry, no Endura here...

Guess I'll have to wait until they are more readily available...:(

The Haddocks got here, and the warehouse is shipping them now.

@Stainz, is it easily opened with just your thumb? It seems, when closed, as if theres a large portion of the blade exposed, so you could push it open with your thumb?

My thumbnails are short - but right handed - and the thumbnick is only on the non-Ti side - I can open it by initially pinching the rapidly thickening blade between my thumb and middle finger. Final deployment to frame-lock can be accomplished with the thumb. It is one-handed capable on closing, too. It certainly isn't a fast presentation - or retraction. This knife is really a cutting tool. The price would likely separate it from the mall-ninja crowd.

Im really on the fence with the Haddock ...On one hand, i like the unusual looks and bladeshape, and im in the market for big user with a nail-nick....but i also think its very expensive and the reports of less-than-stellar finish are unsettling (considering its price).

Hmmm...what to do...

Good! I was going to get one but life gets in the way,
so this will have to wait a while :(
Have fun!

Bladehq had some, 10mins later it was out of stock, must have gotten One in, knifes on the back burner for me, fit and finish posed to be lacking by reviews anyways.
