Anyone seen the new Boker Hawk come out? Interesting design. Maybe I'm a bit slow today but I'm trying to figure out what the spike-side has going on...

Here's a pic, taken from KnifeCenter's ad...

I agree, but from what I can see in the picture, that area seems to be the same thickness throughout, instead of tapering to somewhat of an angle which would be much more effective in ripping through sheet metal...

I think they should have left out the hole in the spike and counter-sunk the scale screws. The 4 channels running vertically would probably hang up on material (metal, etc).

I think it was designed to be sold, not used.

This time form does not follow function. I certainly don't like it.

The spike looks like a thumb. "The Hitcher Hawk" thats what they should call it.

Check out that second video! You can hide your stash in the handle too.

I got to handle it at the USN Gathering - it feels good and the execution is very well done. I like the steel choice as well.

I like it myself. think voxnaes designed it? form and function should work well......guess proofs when i get one and put it through its paces and find out.

Voxnaes did indeed design it. Check out his site. He has some interesting looking hawks. I'm gonna have to pick one of these up and see how they are for myself. They look to be fairly cheap, round 70-90 dollars depending on where you go.
