This listing is for both knives. The Kalashnikov is in great condition, it is used and has been carried, and the blade can use a sharpening. It is smooth in deployment and the lockup is early and rock solid. Very nicely made, it would make a great edc. You will be happy with the Kalashnikov, it is a great example of the better Boker knives made in Germany. The Oberland EDW was a project knife, i purchased this one heavily used and with problems, intending on fixing it up. The lockup and detent are problematic; detent is light and the blade will open if you shake it. It hasn't opened in my pocket, but if you hold it up and give it a wrist shake it will come out. The lockup was horrendous before, everytime you'd need two hands to close it because the lockbar would get stuck. I switched out the lockstop pin to a larger thickness and its made it useable, but the lockstick can come back if you open it hard enough. Overall its a decently made knife with good materials, micarta handles, good design, good steel, but if you buy this it is a problematic knife, let that be known now, with bad lockstick and super light detent. Boker might warranty it, and if so, they can probably fix the issues, but this EDW is not great, you're basically getting it for a few bucks as an add on to the Kalashnikov. I have the box for the EDW, but not the Kalashnikov, they should both fit in the EDW box though. Asking $old g&s shipped for both. Thanks for looking!
