Boker Manaro collab

We already had a first batch of these and I have to tell you... they were awesome... so close to the custom piece, but already gone. We now wait for the second shipment...
I guess, Terry should jump in to give you the dates for the folder for the US market

I received my Boker Plus Manaro folder today. It looks pretty awesome with the real nice titanium handle and spear-shaped blade.

The jimping is too aggressive for my thumb.

Mine has a big centering issue which you can see both in open and closed positions. When closing the blade rubs noticeably against the inside of the handle.

I may have to take it apart and then put it back together. If all that fails send it in...

I did tighten it up and it's better now but the blade is way off center.

Do I first register it at: http://www.boker.de/us/warranty-registration.html

Then, send it in to your attention?

I read the following at http://www.boker.de/us/warranty.html so is it where I send it? How do we do the $5? Just give CC# info?

If you would like to send your Boker knife in for repair work or examination to see if it is covered under warranty, it must be accompanied by your phone number, shipping address (no P.O. boxes, please), e-mail address (if applicable) and $5.00 to cover return shipping and handling (in the form of either a check, money order or Visa or Mastercard number). If we do not have a method of contacting you, we will not be able to proceed with any repair or warranty work. If you do not include shipping charges it will cause significant delays in returning your knife to you. If your repair is covered under our warranty, we will return the $5.00 payment along with your knife. To service you best, please contact the Boker USA Customer Service/Repair Department prior to shipping your knife at 1-800-992-6537 ext. 121.

Don't worry about the $5.00, from the pictures I can tell it will be a warranty item. If you want to register it, that is fine, but you do not need to before you send it in.

Boker sent me a brand new Boker Plus Manaro folder which I received today. There was some delay due to Customs.

This one is all good to go.

Now, I just have to break in the titanium frame lock stickiness. Again. Nature of such locks!
 
I had one in my cart but couldn't click to order. These days I am doing everything that I possibly can to not buy things made in china! Do I want a Manaro? Yep! But a collab made in china? Don't think I can do it!?
 
I received mine and I'm grateful because I got a Good One. I couldn't be happier with it, meets/exceeds all my expectations. Seems as though they've ironed out the earlier wrinkles. Way to go Boker Plus.
