This one is very tempting, it's a lot cheaper than I thought it would be.
 
Huh. I'll be ordering one as soon as I can swing it. I just ordered another AR and a custom dagger, so folders will have to wait a while.
 
The price is great — the one hesitation I have is the steel. I wouldn't mind paying a little bit of a premium for an upgraded blade.
 
Ordered, been waiting for the production flipper version for a while. AUS-8 can be decent if it is heat treated correctly, not sure how Boker's AUS-8 is though. I guess I'll find out.

Yeah, I had one IN MY CART, and before I could pay for it, it was gone.:eek: Literally, just long enough to go see the short video review, and went back and it was gone.

For the better, I guess, as I still have to buy my wife's Christmas gift.:D
 
Wow, that was fast. I tried ordering one direct from Boker a while back, but apparently they don't ship to the U.S. :confused:
 
Curious to here your thoughts on the knife when you get it. I am very tempted to get the titanium version, however I have heard that the prior versions have had issues with the tip of the blade sticking out of the handle. Just curious if they have fixed this issue.
 
I haven't heard of it sticking out, but I have heard complaints of it being so absolutely flush with the end of the handle that you can/will cut yourself if you run your finger along it with any pressure whatsoever.

Aye, this knife in elmax, cts-xhp, s90v, m390, or really any super steel would make this knife my soul blade. The custom versions (typically CPM154) are atrociously expensive, though. Nine hundo plus.
 
Have to agree with the steel comments. I don't have any issue with AUS-8 in a mid price knife. But at $125 you'd think something along S30V or 154CM would be appropriate.
