Apparently Boker Plus will be releasing a production version of the Kwaiken FLIPPER. :thumbup:

It should be a good one.

The current one has a very nice strong detent but without a flipper so you flick it with your thumb. It took a while for it to break in but with a flipper it should be easier.

Hope they fixed the little bit of the tip that can snag on your fingers.

A slick very narrow profile stout flipper. Seems about $35 more or probably around $125 delivered. Seems like they upped the steel to 440-C instead of the current AUS-8.

I've heard of the tip snagging issue but never found it to be an issue with mine.
 
Flipper = win on the Kwaiken design! They should give a royalty (i.e. free knife) and a shout out to that dude on BF who modded the original Kwaiken to flip! PS the Kwaiken Flipper vs Swindle debate is about to start. I might have to give it to the Kwaiken Flipper from the look of the advert.

No contest there. Kwaiken wins. But I agree, the first guy to mod one should get a special knife or something. My pimped Kwaiken is one of my favorite knives I own.
 
Dang it. I just bought a Kwaiken, and now I see this. Oh well. I'll probably just have someone do the flipper mod to mine. I haven't been able to get it out of my pocket for the past 2 days.
 
Not being fluent in German, has anyone determined if the liners will be steel? I hope they are, it should remove a lot of the worry about the lockup that is caused when Boker goes with titanium.
