Hopefully they fix that detent. The thumb disc version has a thumb breaker of one.

    Thanks Mike. Cool!
I like the non-flipper on this model. :D

That detent makes for a great flipper though!

CF is awesome but Ti is more like the Burnley custom! I'm stoked

I wish on knives with flippers, they would still put some kind of opening disc or stud on the blade, for those of us who hate flippers. Guess I'll be passing on this one too. Probably has a blade length under four inches, which is a no-no to me as well.

You realize that the original knife, that has been out for a while now, and is in the OP's picture, has no flipper and a thumb disk, right?

Whoops--shouldn't have been so eager to get the Blade HQ model, though Lucas did say the flipper was coming.

It's all a moot point anyways, as it only has a 3.5 inch blade. And that is .5 shorter than my own minimum.
    It's too dang small. ;-(

Now, we're talking; way to go Boker. Like the clean and minimal presentation side on that flipper.

Is that a hump on the back of the handle?

Looks more like dodgy pen tool work on the clipping path...likewise across the top of the blade.

    Arguably the nicest Boker.

The German made bokers are way nicer.

Undoubtedly but you pay a premium on price. My Minos and Pipsqueak both made in Solingen, Germany have been perfect from day one. They are both superb in every way. However, the Albatros also made in Germany is a little on the rough side but it's also much lower in price.

My Boker Monaro made in China had blade centering issues and eventually Boker replaced it with a perfect one. My Kwaiken Orange made in China has had no real issues but a little rough around the edges.

My Boker Federal also made in China has been perfect from day one. The fit and finish on the Federal is great. The Chinese made Bokers are getting even better.

How is 440c? $200 is a big increase from $88-98 currently.
