Found this on the Boker site:

Rampage * * * NEW * * *

The Rampage, designed by famous knifemaker R.J. Martin, is a purely tactical knife. 4 3/4" of super-aggressive, deep hollow ground 440C stainless steel blade meshed with a super-ergonomic handle. Lock your hand into the deep finger grooves in the durable black Micarta handle and serrated thumb ramp in either a straight or a reverse grip. You've never held anything like it! The Rampage comes with a custom injection-molded ABS sheath. The holes along with the Tek-Lok adapter (included) allow almost infinite carry options on belts, clothing or gear. Overall length: 9 1/2". Weight: 5.8 oz.

Order-No.: 02BO110
$ 129.00

Any chance we can get some pics shortly?!?!?

I am curious as hell for this one..
Thanks!

Don't know if you've seen a custom Rampage, but I've included a pic below from RJ's site. If Boker's version of the Rampage is as faithful to his original as Spyderco and Kershaw were with their collaborations, I figure it should be pretty close to this.

It's a nasty knife. :thumbup: :thumbup: :thumbup:

Many thanks Toby :)

Do you think a testing of it would be possible? :confused: :rolleyes:

Danke Tobias,
Sieht echt genial aus... besonders aggresiv.
Schoen bearbeitet.

@224477:
I will mail you back tomorrow from the office. I am at home and don't have a chance to check my office email account!

@Rugger:

Vielen Dank Tobias,
Bin nur 'ne etwas eingedeutschter Ami (3 Jahre Heidelberg, 1,5 Jahre Berlin)
Sie haben das Design haargenau nachgemacht. :thumbs:
Gruesse,
Mike

@Rugger,
RESPEKT!!!

Hello Tobias,
This is Terry.
Could I ask you to translate that for the rest of us?:)
Thanks, Terry

Hey all,
that looks really good.

Wie dick ist denn die Fehlschärfe am Klingenrücken? Schleifbar?

Grüsse aus Wien,
Tom

@TJT
hi Terry, nice to "meet" you again.
Rugger and me we just takled about is ability to speak that good German. I was really suprised, to read something in my own language.
further I told him that the Protos of the RJ Rampage, that we will launch are very well made. Very close to the custom version, certainly not the the same materials, that RJ uses!
I guess, I will give you later a call...

@RogerRabbit:
I will answer your question in english, that everyone is able to understand.
IMHO you could sharpen the false edge, but it could get pretty hard. First of all, the false edge is slightly curved and second, the material is getting thick as closer as you come to the middle spine of the blade. Have a look at the image, and you will see, what I try to explain. I hope, I could make myself clear, cause this is not my native language and sometimes words are missing, that I would like to use...

Sicher ein sehr schoenes kampfmesser kein EDC
Sure a fighting knive and not an EDC
Wondering do they come out in Europe too Tobias ???

As I understand it, you're refering to the rather obtuse angle ("eher stumpfer winkel") of the false edge in relation to the main edge.
Yes, you're right. It should be sufficient for a serrated edge though, which I have on my mind.

One more question: What kind of micarta is used on the handle? Canvas ("leinen")?

I already ordered mine. :)

Thanks,
Tom

@RogerRabbit,
it will be a canvas micarta with a fine structure. Not like the micarta used on the Ontario TAK 1 model...

Great news! a Rampage at an "affordable" Bokerplus price... I love the grind lines of this blade.... I even fancied the idea of buying a custom one many months ago..... :thumbup:
