Boker Plus Schanz Integral Dagger (SID) 7"

I finally broke down and purchased another one of these for myself. It really is an outstanding knife for the money you pay. The grinds are perfect and meet where they should at the point. The edge will shave and slice newspaper with ease. One area where things could have gone wrong was with the micarta handles being fit onto the handle. With the slight curve I thought this could be a problem, but not to worry as the handles fit in with no gaps, nor overhang/underhang. I'm really pleased with this piece.

The sheath does not match the knife and a kydex sheath would be very nice. Though not the best, the leather is usable to hold the knife, which is what it does for mine as it hangs on the wall beside my bed awaiting those things that go "bump" in the night. Carrying the knife in the leather sheath might result with a leather sheath with a big slice in it.

All in all this is a very nice piece of cutlery, imo of course.:thumbup::)
 
Ageed my friend, I picked one up and im very impressed! Sheath is a ultra snug fit and i could barely get the Monster into the sheath after un-boxing, Loving it, Solid as a Rock
 
I actually got the first one towards the end of 2010, and then gave it to my son. I saw his eyes bulge out when he first glanced at it, so........ Anyway, I picked this one up about a week ago.:thumbup::)
