The Boker Plus Vox T-Hawks have arrived and is ready to ship! Designed by ingenious knife designer, Jesper Voxnaes, he's also created some great concepts in the area of tomahawks. The T-Hawk is constructed of a single piece of SK5 carbon steel with G10 handle slabs to give it a nice grippy handle. Feels very solid in the hand weighing 27.8 oz. Available at KnifeCenter for $84.95.

I know that this was posted a month ago but I was wondering if anyone had given this hawk a workout to see how it would preform?

I'm looking for a solid steel tomahawk for not a lot of money if possible to go along with my Gingrich Tactical Renegade Tomahawk. The Renegade gave me the fever to acquire more hawks once I saw what it was capable of in place of a larger fixed blade that I normally use on camping trips.

Thanks!

KLJTech,

Looking through all the tactical tomahawks, the Vox T-Hawk is definitely the most stout design of the bunch and to a certain degree the best looking. It's a solid one piece of steel which give it the strength to do all your tasks, even light duty prying. Most other designs have a nylon or zytel handle which may or may not be full tang. A co-worker here just bought the SOG Tactical Tomahawk as it's on sale and he's very pleased with it for the price. When he compared the Vox to the SOG side by side he definitely felt the Vox had a more solid and tactical feel.

I wasn't able to find any videos on youtube of people using and abusing their T-Hawks but I really haven't heard of people having complaints about the design as of yet. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it...the two I've had my eye on are the Boker Plus Vox and the Smith & Wesson SW671 Extraction & Evasion Tomahawk. I believe the S&W is thicker yet the Boker has G10 scales which would provide a better grip. The Boker Plus Vox T-Hawk is a great looking hawk for the money and is certainly on my short list...I may have to buy both, I mean who are we kidding? <grin>

Boker is also producing a lot of interesting looking knives based on Jasper Voxnaes' designs...I just received a catalog form them this past week. Great looking stuff.

Thanks so much!
