Boker Plus

I just got a Boker Plus from a friend and the release is killing my thumb. Any way or ideas to help loosen it up? Thanks, great knife except for this.

Boker Plus what? Plus is a line of Boker knives, not a specific model.

Sorry, it says Boker Plus Action 2 on the blade. Model # B0060 on the box. Hope that helps.

I need to ask you whether this knife is an automatic or not.

If it is not, could you describe better the problem you are having, please.

Yes it is a Boker automatic from the factory.

Yes TJT I did read the sticky, yet doesn't the company have them made in Taiwan?

Yes we have them made in Taiwan, but they are imported to us strictly as manual operating knives.
Any Boker, Boker Plus, or Magnum knife that operates as an automatic has been converted after it was purchased from us, or imported illegaly.
