Boker Reality based knife

Of course, we all practice with our Reality folders on sides of beef to get the right touch reaching the line and no further. Can't have too much penetration.

I suppose once you get the hang of it the line wears off and you don't need it.

BS like a white line only makes public perception of knife users spiral downward.

Are you kidding me...Ive stabbed myself by accident deeper than that white line.....Although Phil has a good point...He uses that knife ONLY for self defense...and to be honest if someone had that knife pointing at me I'd think..."DAMN...Everything on that blade looks like it would hurt."

And...I'd immediately engrave on the back side of the blade "BOKER CARPET CUTTER".......lol

Has anyone tried waving these knives using a ziptie. I thought thats what the lanyard like hole was for but many say the angle is not correct for that purpose. Thanks again!

I think the white line is for appealing to the idiots out there. They'll think "Wow, I only need to stab THAT deep witht his knife, but it's even MUCH longer! How effective it must be!

Pretty much like marking the female g spot depth on your weener.

Is anybody even certain they are all marked with a white line? I can't imagine a knife co. doing that. It looks stupid and if its on the blade for real I certainly wouldn't buy ANY knife marked in that manner. Here's a good picture of the knife and it shows no white lines on the blade.

I was critical of the original Reality Based Blade, but looking at the new Boker catalog, I can say tha I'm impressed with the Reality Based Recurve and I also believe that for the right pros, the Reality Based Recurve knive could be very practical as well. Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel.
