Does anyone here have any experience with this folder? I'm considering buying it, but i know very little about it... the 440c blade is a concern, so i'd like to hear from people who know more than me

I found that to be a great review and I will be picking one up. Quite an interesting knife to me.

Since I don't have but one other folder with a Wharncliffe blade shape.

Thanks man - I wrote the review and shot the video so I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it. I have carried this one around for a while. Nice big knife, excellent design from Sniper Bladeworks, good materials, good fit and finish. For like $40 its hard to go wrong with the S2.

i love my boker s2! funky knife but it grows on you. i just added a kwik stud tonight. you know whatll be in my pocket tomorrow :D

That's a great idea with that thumb stud. Will definitely try that if I feel the absence of studs whenever I manage to get the blade...

it also allows you to "wave" the knife open if you wanted to do that. the original it was inspired by had thumb studs located in the same area... im not sure why it was left out of the boker model.

Mine is on the way. I don't mind the lack of thumbstuds either.

I usually don't care for liner-locks that much, but the flipper opening system is helping to change that now.

loving my s2 with the kwik stud, todays edc :)

I got mine and it is great — nice big blade and the handle ergonomics are just what I was looking for.

It needed the edge touched up on fine diamond and ceramic hones and a strop to get it the standard of sharpness that I
like.

The blade shape is quite useful.

I have one in the saved section of my amazon cart. except I might be moving to a state that only lets you conceal a 3.5" blade so if I did get it it could end up in a drawer for a while.
