I have seen Boker full-size smatchet listed on various internet knife retailers. Has anyone bought one yet? I would like to hear comments before I decide if I "need" one.

Also comparisons of smatchets performance compared to khukuris of similar size would be interesting.

I saw one in a store here in Berlin. It's a pretty big sucker. The grind lines and finish on the one I saw were very good. Looked like a quality product. I can't comment on use of function as I have no experience with one.
