Boker Swords

What's the deal with Boker's Samarai swords? Has anyone bought one of these. They're all price under $200 except a damascus samarai sword $299. Does anyone know if they are anygood.

I'm guessing they're made in China by one of the forges that makes swords for some of the lower end brands like Musashi, Masahiro, etc. I don't like to say anything definite about something I've never handled, so I'll just say that I DO own several swords by the other two companies I mentioned (all in a similar or even lower price range), and they are surprisingly decent for the cash. They aren't going to compare to the high end offerings from Hanwei, Dynasty Forge, or Bugei Trading (made by Hanwei), but they are pretty tough, and make fantastic "backyard" cutters. Certainly not "wallhangers" if that's your concern. If Boker's are made to similar specs, then I would say they'd certainly be worth it. :thumbup:
