Boker

I handled both knives during a passaround once and own a M-Type PE. Both are great knives, very solid, slim profile, almost disappear in your pocket and have great ergonomics. For whatever reason they seem to fly below radar for a lot of people which doesn't do them justice at all. If you have the possibility to purchase one for a decent prize, go for it, you won't be disappointed.

Regarding this topic, does anyone know if any CLB plus series are made in Taiwan anymore? Particularily the trance.

I have the Boker Plus Hyper and I dig it. Very thin, flat, has a nice 440C TiNi coated blade with a slight recurve (razor sharp right out of the box,) a low profile pocket clip (adjustable for right hand tip up/down carry only,) and has great ergos for a secure three-finger grip. Made in China. Definitely worth a look!

Hope this helps...

ive had the m-type and the hyper, my wife stole the hyper from me and wont give it back and my buddy loved the m-type so much he begged me to sell it to him so i did but i regret it
