Bolster attachment

What is your method to attach a bolster such as horn or other non-metallic material with out pins?

I have used hidden pins to attach micarta bolsters. I usually use a piece of scrap steel to make a drilling template so I can drill holes in each bolster that will align with the tang holes and the other bolster. Keeping everything in alignment is the tricky part but it's not that hard. Making a flat drill bit helps as well.

Hidden pins & Locktite 324. And or glue bolsters to the same piece of liner material as the scales use.
