Newbe here. i tried shearing but was unable to come up with anything, so here it goes.

I am make a kukri and want to use a beef bone handle. The tang is narrower then the hole in the bone. I thought that I could fill it up with JB weld or an epoxy. I also intend to use two pins. However, I am wondering if chopping motions will compress the filling and lossen the handle. Any articles i have seen on hidden tangs have little play between the tang and the handle so filling that with epoxy would not have that much of an impact. Any ideas would help. Thanks

I would suggest using Acra-glass epoxy. It is thin enough to fully fill the cavity and it is designed to withstand the recoil of high powered rifles. Lookit up online. It is more expensive than the stuff from the hardware store but it is a sure thing...
