Bone handle

Yes, but you can probably find them cheaper, and in better shape elsewhere.

I always have a really hard time finding quality antler. It amazes me how much is available at pet stores and none ever for knifemaking. I wonder how many big time knife makers get their antler from the pet store and just dont tell anyone lol.

You really don't want soft/porous antler material that originates from game farms. These are sawed off when the critter's newly formed racks are still in velvet, to keep them from goring each other. Great for pets to gnaw on but not much else. If you can find fully matured and aged deer/elk/moose antler sheds in the forest in late winter then you've got something to work with. Best bet when it comes to that sort of thing is 'horn'; something that cow (which includes water buffalo), goat and sheep types are adorned with.

Not all of them. A co-worker of mine raises elk and I get all kinds of naturally dropped antler from him.

I used to look often and buy sometimes from the pet stores and the prices were always good!
