bone time

willgoy i'm going to get some more of those smooth bones-- looked at the exe.whitt. for weeks & waited too long. the 1st time i saw smooth bone i thought it ugly but now i'm on the prod for it. classy is the best description. i imagine a lot of it cracks in processing & thats why its so expensive.would like it on a sunfish but that would probably be as much as stag. going to to gec sites now & see what is offered. thanks for nudging me.

Your wallet's loss is our picture gain Dennis:D:thumbup:

I like the Primitive Bone on the GEC Congress, but the knife is a bit thick for my taste. Now I notice they've come out with a Half Congress, 2 blades on one spring, yes! No interesting bone on that pattern yet but I'm keeping a keen eye open....

I like the smooth white bone. I wish they'd do the new trapper in some smooth white bone.

It still gripes me that I missed the boat on that St. Paddy's acrylic.

I really like the antique walnut and shield on that sunfish! More photos of it would be appreciated!
