hi,,thinking about getting a boney ad,and was wondering if anyone out there has one and what are your opinions???looks very nice and the thin blade seems like it would slice through anything..

Hereis mine, great slicer and perfect for EDC. You wont go wrong with a BAD.

I really like mine. It's small but still has nice heft for the size. The photos are a little decieving. When I first saw it I thought it was no different from a pairing knife. I was wrong. This is a terrific little blade that works extremely well at field dressing. It may be a bit big for some for caping but its like a scalpel. I personally wouldnt mind a few more of these. Just remember to match the knife to the job, it does what it was designed to do very well.

Love your pumpkin FBM Doby!!!!!! I've wanted one of those for a while.

Best AD made. I have a couple at least.

That really is a BAD on the bottom? From the angle of the picture the blade looks longer and narrow like a Meaner. I thought maybe you were joking and were calling the FBM your BAD. Nice set.

If you like small, sharp, tough blades get it immediately this is one of those blades you will regret if you don't get it.

This is one design worth getting. Its a great little knife. I just convexed mine at Bans last night and it cuts like no other.

Just got mine in the mail today,,,,,,, blue/black , real sweet lil blade, very sharp ,,,,an alot tuffer than I thought,,,,an excellent purchase :D

I got the blue/black and like everyone else said, it's a great knife.

From a review I did on the WS&S section: http://216.26.177.84/forums/showthread.php?t=600705

They say the tip should not be used for heavy prying and such as it's too fine. I wouldn't use this knife as a breaching tool, to open shipping crates or hammer through steel plate, but it handles outdoor chores with no problems.
I batoned it through birch rounds up to 2" in diameter with no trouble, it drilled holes (for a bow drill set) just fine, and was fairly good cutting fuzz sticks. I say fairly good because it's a bit small for my meat hooks to get a real powerful grip on it. Just like the HR, it showed no signs of use. it's a great compliment to a larger knife.

People would have you believe it is a wafer-thin, fragile little thing. That bit of misinformation might steer some folks away from buying one. Truth is, it's as thick as most "normal" brands of hunting knives. :)

I convexed mine, too. It's on my belt in my Mashed Cat sheath right now.
