Short Review by Larry Connelley
"A superb sequel to the "Custom Folding Knives" by Darom, this hardbound presentation book presents custom fixed-blade knives in all of their artistic glory. This large book (276 pages) is filed with some of the most stunning photography in the cutlery industry; one can almost reach out and touch the knives. The printing and paper on this book is of the highest caliber. I appreciate how the color and detail of the photography presents each knife 'center stage' without distractions. The book also has an outstanding collection of articles that introduce the reader to the techniques of handcrafting and embellishing knives. The articles in the book include Modern Custom Knifemaking, Lloyd Hale Knifemaker, San Francisco Knives, Jim Kelso, Classic Motifs in Custom Art Knives, Elements of Blade Steel and Integrals and Interframes.
