For those of you looking for an excellent book on survival skills, spend the money and pick up this one. Just to get a sense of it, 448 pages, 8-1/2" X 11"

I meant to mention it at the last go-round of book recommendations but I forgot. I mention it now because I just picked it up to look up some trap triggers and I thought I'd do you all a favour! :D

This is not your typical survival book and is not suggested as a replacement to the Larry Dean Olsens, Tom Brown Jr.s, Lofty Wisemans, Cody Lundins, etc. but rather as an adjunct. Tons of how-to!

I defy anybody that is truly interested in survival techniques to tell me it wasn't money well spent!

BTW, don't let the California in the title scare you off - the techniques are not locale specific.

Doc

Got to thinking maybe I should qualify this. If your idea of survival is to make a shelter for a couple of days and keep yourself safe until rescue arrives, then save your money, but if you are interested in learning about weapons, nets, traps, cordage, etc., then drop the bucks, my friend.
