Book Reference - Damascus/Pattern Steel

Anyone know of a good reference book for this? I'm looking for something that goes into how to do cuts/folds to make various patterns, steels to use, mosaic and canister how-to... etc.. Can't afford a class but hoping to find a decent book.

I’ve heard good things about Dr. Hirsoulas’s books, but have not read them myself. This is on my list to get:

Jim Hrisoulas Book is really good and a must own. His video is good as well. A bit old school but covers the basics. My wife bought me “Damascus Steel: Theory and Practice” for my birthday and I enjoyed it.
