Books on metallurgy and knife making.

If you already know the basics then it would probably he helpful if you could list topics you'd like to look into more. Different books will be better for different questions/interests.

Or just read everything, just takes a bit longer lol

Ok. I guess It's hard to narrow it down, but I suppose I would like to have a better understanding of exactly how the different alloying elements act in an alloy, why exactly they behave like they do. I have a minimal understanding, and it's more like what the end result of what the elements do in alloy, and less of an exact understanding of why.

Then I would also like to have a better understanding, of I guess mechanical metallurgy, and maybe something along the lines of structural engineering (idk if that's exactly what I'm looking for, but something along the lines of how to design a strong shape, that's also able to be thin enough for a knife, and have an exact understanding of why something is structurally sound).

The Verhoeven pdf is no longer legal as ASM owns the copyright so I don’t link to it.
Metallurgy of Steel for Bladesmiths & Others who Heat Treat and Forge Steel John D. Verhoeven

That one came first, it's attributed to the University and still available on Archive.org which is quite legit.

Yes, it came first. Then ASM bought it and Verhoeven removed the download link. When you buy the copyright to something the previous owner no longer owns it. Anyone can upload to Archive.org that doesn’t mean anything.
