I have been interested of sheffield knives lately. Is there any good books about Sheffields knives out there.

The Heritage of English Knives by David Hayden-Wright is a good place to start.
I'm sure you'll get some more and better suggestions, especially when our own David Darom chimes in. :)

Okey thanks Dough C:thumbup:. I wonder if the old Sheffield company exist.

Sheffield Exhibition Knives is probably the best book on the subject; I own it and find myself regularly leafing through it, drooling :). From what I've read in Bernard Levine's forum, the quality of photographs leaves something to be desired in Heritage of English Knives. There is also a book called Joseph Rodgers and Sons: The Samuel Setian Collection that is on my want to buy list.

The best book that I have ever seen on the subject is The Sheffield Knife Book by Geoffrey Tweedale. It is out of print and when you find one it isn't cheap.
