This super chopper is a throwback design of mine from the 1980s.

The rounded butt of the Boom Parang facilitates an extreme forward grip which greatly increases leverage and chopping power. Running a piece of paracord from front to back secures this magnificent chopper to the hand under the heaviest impacts.

Yes it does.
This parang is thicker than the 'typical' machete used on light vegetation. This would be more of a chopper IMO.

I love it. The talon hole location puts it up and out of the way so you can choke up right to the edge if you need to, which is important to me in a big knife.

And with the shearing hold at the end, you can make yourself a giant Busse papercutter!
